Love is a light, scaring darkness away.
Installation | Copenhagen Light Festival 2025
My contribution to Copenhagen Light Festival 2025 explored light as a quiet form of resistance against darkness.
The installation consisted of two light boxes formed by delicate, hand-drawn lines.
These small luminous gestures were intended as gentle reminders rather than grand statements.
The fragile shapes suggested growth, as if light itself could expand into something stronger, something capable of pushing back against the dark.
Placed within the night landscape, the work invited passersby into a moment of stillness.
A brief, silent conversation between the viewer and the surrounding darkness.
Although the physical light boxes are now gone, the idea remains.
I hope the work continues to exist in the minds of those who encountered it, as a memory of light, reflection, and quiet hope.
